Making 3d maquettes of social networks

Doing my best to visualise what a social network could like like as  a 3d form, i thought about shape representations, like sphere for facebook or a pyramid for twitter. but that felt like cheating so i have decided to make something a little better.

I basically found some great high res, SVG pictures of the logos i wanted to, took them into tinkercad, as it was very friendly with the file, and chose a thickness. super quick and easy.

My results are here.

I am alittle uncertain if really want these to be this literal in there designs, but they shall be fun to play with.

like testing

I started by being a touch messy and just composing the pieces anywhere, to see what would happen.

so i thought about using the head to boolean away the shapes and see what impression it would leave.
